From week 5, we learned about copyright laws. Copyright law mean the right to copy. This is to protect the author, or the owner of the works provided. There are main parts to this law. This law stays intact to a work for the authors or creators' whole life plus 70 more years. An example is that certain movies cannot be played in the classrooms because they are copyrighted. They must have an educational purpose that pertains to the lesson you were teaching in class. We have to be careful as educators, to not print a whole book for our students that cannot afford one. We have to also be careful when we use stories in our classrooms or posting videos that contain others works, and photos, so we do not get in trouble for the copyright law. We will have to proper source and/ or ask for permission to share the work.
